We Buy and Sell Clothes Online More Often

From the web straight to our wardrobes
According to one of the biggest classified portals, in September alone the Mazovia region held over a million active listings with clothes and broadly understood fashion. When do we most eagerly fill our wardrobes? Autumn often, but another period breaks popularity records.
Did you know we buy most clothes after New Year? Per OLX data, in early January nearly 5.5 million people searched fashion listings. Will this trend hold, with Poles shopping as 2023 starts? Everything says yes, since the year's start has for years been buyers' peak interest period, despite macroeconomic conditions. Interestingly, buyer numbers grew over half a million in two years. Autumn also sees clearly more clothes hunting than summer holidays, when 4 million users visited the fashion category.
What do we search most?
The service reports a million new nationwide fashion offers in September alone. Nearly 6 million total, each displayed almost 50 times on average. It shows Polish women and men know exactly what wardrobe completion they seek. Moreover, OLX data shows our wardrobes hold necessities plus important extras. Most searched clothing kind was the dress (over 700k listings), closely followed by men's watches. What else do we seek? Seasonal populars: booties, jackets, coats and sweaters, plus wedding gowns, handbags, gold chains and wedding-guest dresses. An important hint for wardrobe-clearers or clothing businesses.
– I treat selling but also buying clothes on platforms like OLX as supporting the home budget, saving time, plus a bit of stylist play, especially presenting my products strikingly – comments Joanna Jaskolka, author of the popular blog Matka jest tylko jedna.
E-commerce growers on OLX can use an attractive commission model, paying only for listings ending in sale. Unlimited listings and labelless InPost shipping available. New users posting at least 50 listings also get promo points to boost their offer.
