Oscar de la Renta fashion house with Ready to Wear spring summer 2022 

The Oscar de la Renta creative duo of Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim presented a short film with their latest spring summer 2022 Ready to Wear collection at New York Fashion Week. 

See stars like Irina Shayk, Candice Swanepoel, Soo Joo Park, Akon Changkou and Lulu Tenney in this collection. The stars head to Bryant Park in New York to stage a spring walk, showing airy outfits with gold discs arranged almost like constellations, evening gowns covered in raffia fringes... and more. The video presentation closed with music featuring Oxytocin by the unique Billie Eilish.  

             Only two years after founding the critically acclaimed Monse, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia took the helm at Oscar de la Renta. The designers started their careers at this very fashion house. Garcia studied architecture at the University of Notre Dame. After graduating he moved to New York for an Oscar de la Renta internship. He quickly climbed the ladder, earning senior designer title within six years. Kim graduated from Pratt in 2004 and worked at the New York house since 2003, finally serving as design director.

Their debut collection for the house as co-creative directors was fall winter 2017.
