Quick and Easy Pan Pizza

Pizza is one of the most frequent food blog topics.
International Pizza Day falls on 9 February this year. Many of us would give a lot for a slice of pizza, no wonder this round treat earned its own holiday. Pizza is a traditional Italian dish of usually round flat leavened wheat dough topped with tomatoes, cheese and often various other ingredients, baked at high temperature, traditionally in wood-fired ovens.
But today we have an easy pan pizza recipe, see how simple it is.

DOUGH recipe:
- 100g flour
- 65 ml water
- a spoonful of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- a pinch of salt
Topping recipe – basic version (modify ingredients – also prepare meat versions with salami, ham, sausage or vegetarian versions)
- Bruschetta tomatoes plus garlic plus oregano OLE!
- 2 spoonfuls of herbed tomato puree
- three quarters of mozzarella packs
- red onion
- basil leaves
Mix all pizza dough ingredients, then knead into a ball. Roll out to pan size. Grease the cold pan with olive oil using a brush, lay the rolled dough. Fry until browned underneath. Flip and spread puree sauce on top. Add Bruschetta tomatoes plus garlic plus oregano OLE!, favourite extras, mozzarella and onion slices. Cover with a lid or second similar-diameter pan (if no lid). Fry 10 minutes. Watch the bottom does not burn.
